This policy explains what personal information SMA Car Rental collects through this website, why we collect it and how we look after it, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

SMA Car Rental is operated by SMA Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (202401018279 (1564128-H)), No. 18B, Stadium Darul Makmur, 25200 Kuantan, Pahang. For any privacy question, email admin@smacarrental.com or call 018-906 0080.
What we collect
When you send a booking request or contact us, we receive the details you choose to share: your name, phone number, email address, the car you want, your pickup place, dates and times, and any note you add. When you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your WhatsApp number and messages.
At the handover, we check your driving licence and your IC or passport, as required to rent a vehicle.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and confirm availability and the total
- To prepare and manage your rental, including handover and return
- To contact you about your booking, a summons or an incident during the rental
- To meet our legal, insurance and accounting duties
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. Booking requests sent by email pass through our website host (Cloudflare) and our email provider (Resend), only to deliver the message to us. We may share details with our insurer or the police where an accident, theft or traffic summons requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and rental records for as long as we need them for the rental and for our legal and accounting duties, and then delete them.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to the records we must keep by law. Email admin@smacarrental.com and we reply as soon as we can.
