Cheap car rental in Kuantan: Axia and Myvi from RM130

Low price, no surprises

Our compact cars are the simplest way to get around Kuantan. A Perodua Axia starts at RM130 a day, the newer Axia at RM150 and the Myvi G3 automatic at RM170 to RM180. The Honda Jazz, at RM260, gives the same easy size with a roomier cabin.

Every price on our site is a daily starting rate. The final total depends on your dates, how long you rent and where you collect, and we confirm it before you commit. There is no hidden charge waiting at the handover.

Axia, Myvi or Jazz: which one fits you

Choose the Axia when the budget matters most: one or two people, short trips across town, simple parking at Teluk Cempedak or the city centre. Pick the Myvi when you want a bit more power and space for four adults, or longer drives on the highway to Gambang and Pekan. The Jazz suits travellers who carry more bags and like a higher seat.

Ways to pay less

Rent for 7 days or more and the rental price drops by 10%. Rent for 30 days or more and it drops by 30%. Discounts apply to the rental only, not to location fees, extras or Excess Protection.

Collect and return at our office at Stadium Darul Makmur and there is no location fee. Plan your handover between 8am and 5pm and you avoid the RM20 meet late fee. Book early for weekends and school holidays, because the Axia is usually the first car to go.

Insurance and excess, in plain words

Every car carries standard motor insurance. Compact cars under RM200 a day sit in Group A, where the excess is RM4,000. That is the most you pay if there is covered damage. Add Excess Protection for RM30 a day and your share drops to RM500.

Insurance does not cover careless or unlawful driving, damage while the car is parked, damage to the underside or roof, or driving on unsealed roads. Report any accident to us and make a police report within 24 hours.

Who rents our small cars

Students and visiting parents at IIUM and UMPSA, interns on placement, engineers working short stints around Gebeng, and families who need a second car while theirs is in the workshop. Many guests simply want to explore Kuantan at their own pace, from the beach at Teluk Cempedak to the old mining town of Sungai Lembing.

What you need on the day

The driver must be 23 to 65 years old with a full driving licence. P licences are not accepted. Visitors from abroad can use a valid English-language licence for up to 3 months. Bring the licence and your IC or passport, and we check the car together before you sign.

Want to share the driving? A second driver costs RM20 per booking and must meet the same rules. Travelling with a little one? Child seats are RM20 per seat per day, subject to availability.

Small car, easy Kuantan days

A compact car makes the most sense in and around town. Parking in the town centre or along the beach road at Teluk Cempedak is simpler in a small car, and short daily trips keep fuel costs low. For a longer road trip with four adults and full suitcases, step up to a Myvi or Jazz, or look at our sedans.

Speed limits apply to every rental: 110 km/h on expressways and 90 km/h on normal roads. Smoking in the car is not allowed, and a RM300 cleaning charge applies if the car comes back smelling of smoke.
