Everyone in one vehicle

Picture a group of twelve in three cars. One misses a junction, one stops for fuel, one arrives early and waits. With a 10 to 14 seat van, that problem disappears: one driver, one route, everyone arrives together, and the cost is shared.

We keep four vans: the Toyota Hiace, the Hyundai Starex, the Nissan Urvan and the newer Hyundai Starex. They are popular, so book early for school holidays and festive seasons.

Seats, gearbox and price

The Toyota Hiace and Nissan Urvan are manual. Make sure your driver is comfortable with a manual gearbox before you book. If your driver only drives automatic, ask us about the Hyundai Starex.

Who rents our vans

Big families on a holiday to Cherating or Balok, with grandparents and grandchildren in the same seats. Wedding parties moving the entourage between the house and the hall. Companies taking a team from Kuantan to a site in Gebeng or Gambang. Sports teams and school groups heading to a tournament.

For groups larger than fourteen, combine a van with a 7-seat MPV from our fleet. Tell us your headcount and we suggest the right mix.

Long trips and out-of-state tours

Vans can leave Pahang. Tell us your destination when you book. Plan one rental day for every 300 km you will drive, so a return trip to Kuala Lumpur (about 500 km) needs at least 2 days and Melaka (about 700 km) at least 3. Plan rest stops so the driver stays fresh, and keep to 110 km/h on expressways and 90 km/h on normal roads.

Deposit, excess and protection

Our vans sit in Group C, where the excess is RM10,000. Excess Protection reduces your share to RM500 for RM70 a day. The deposit is RM100 for rentals under 7 days, RM200 for 7 days or more and RM500 for 30 days or more.

A van is long and tall. Insurance does not cover roof or underside damage, so watch for height bars at car parks and petrol stations, and never take the van on unsealed roads.

Picking up a group at the airport or bus station

A van can wait for your group at Kuantan Airport for RM30 each way, or at Kuantan Sentral bus terminal for RM20 each way. Share the flight number or bus time when you book. A handover before 8am or after 5pm adds the RM20 meet late fee.

Planning a group trip

A smooth group trip comes down to a little planning before the day. Agree who will drive, and make sure they hold a full licence and are 23 to 65 years old. If you want to share the driving, add a second driver for RM20 per booking.

Collect the passengers at one meeting point instead of many homes, and give everyone a departure time with a little buffer. Pack bags soft where you can, because they fit around seats more easily than hard cases. On long drives, stop every two hours so the driver stays fresh.
